Hub Jewelers opened its doors in 1959, and we continue to serve the community as the only jeweler in Richfield. Located in The Hub Shopping Center, which was the Twin Cities' first outdoor strip mall, we have always remained a family-owned business proud to serve its community with trust and integrity. Today's owners, Jennifer and Jason Bornholdt have been running the business since 2004 and are proud to be The Next Generation, upholding a tradition where quality is affordable. 

Our store was chosen as the 2009 Small Business of the Year by the Richfield Chamber of Commerce. The selection criteria for this award are based on the staying power of a business, growth, entrepreneurship, response to adversity and contributions to community-oriented projects. In addition, we've been selected as Best Jeweler in Richfield since these awards were started in 2010. Hub Jewelers was thrilled to be nominated and we are humbled to have been recognized for both of these awards.

We specialize in exquisite diamond jewelry and we also showcase an extensive line of colored stone jewelry. But we don't stop there! Hub Jewelers stocks a vast selection of loose diamonds, 14K jewelry, Citizen, Seiko and Skagen watches, sterling silver jewelry, baby & children's jewelry, clocks and gift items to satisfy many tastes. 

In addition to our line of fine jewelry, the in-house repair shop provides full-service jewelry repair. Our jeweler works on all types of gold and platinum, from simple ring sizing, soldering and stone setting to complex custom designs.  Our well trained staff is happy to work with you if you're considering remounting or restyling any of your existing jewelry. Our GIA certified Graduate Gemologist provides complete appraisal services. We also do in-house watch repair, custom engraving, free jewelry inspection and cleanings, insurance replacement estimates, free gift wrap and maintain wish lists for all of our registered customers. 

Jennifer started her work in the jewelry business in the early 1990's and has maintained a passion for this industry ever since. With a Business Marketing and International Business degree from Mankato State University, her business talents have naturally combined with the jewelry store to carry on the highest level of service for our third generation of customers at Hub Jewelers.

Jennifer is actively involved in the Richfield Chamber of Commerce, currently serving on the Executive Committee as the 2012 Board Chair.  She has been on the Board of Directors since 2009 and chairs committees for Marketing and the Gala. She is also involved in the Independent Jeweler's Organization (IJO) and travels to their conferences twice a year, in addition to the trips to Antwerp Belgium and other industry events.  When not busy at the store, Jennifer enjoys family activities with two children, golf league, running, piano, a passion for music and being outdoors. 

Jason has a career as a Director in the healthcare consulting industry and works to be involved at the store as much as possible. He also stays active in the Chamber of Commerce events with Jennifer. Jason enjoys being outside and is an avid hunter. He also enjoys golf, 4-wheeling and spending time with family and friends.
